My Story
Early Beginnings: A Lifelong Passion for Technology
Born in Sydney, NSW, and now calling Brisbane, QLD home, my journey has been shaped by a lifelong passion for technology, creativity, and competitive gaming. From the moment I started gaming at age three on consoles like the PS1, PS2, and Nintendo 64, I was captivated by the immersive possibilities of digital worlds. This fascination deepened as I explored my first Windows XP computer—a tower that sparked an enduring love for problem-solving and exploration in tech.
Gaming quickly became more than just a hobby; it evolved into a competitive pursuit. At one point, I proudly represented an Australian gaming organization as a professional gamer, honing my skills in fast-paced shooters. The thrill of competition and the camaraderie of esports team play fueled my passion for gaming. However, my physical disabilities eventually made it impossible to continue at this level. As my reaction times diminished, I found myself struggling to keep up with the demands of competitive shooters—a reality that led me to step away from professional gaming.
Despite these challenges, my love for gaming remains steadfast. While I can no longer compete professionally, gaming continues to inspire my work in technology and AI art. This transition has allowed me to channel my competitive spirit into creative innovation—exploring new ways to push boundaries through generative AI tools and digital artistry.
Among friends, I’ve always been known as the go-to tech support person, troubleshooting everything from PCs to phones. This natural affinity for technology laid the foundation for my future endeavors in AI art and digital innovation. Today, through Queen Caffeine AI, I’ve found new ways to connect with the gaming community—creating art inspired by the worlds I once competed in while advocating for inclusivity in digital spaces.
From Stage to Screen: The Creative Journey
My creative roots run deep in music. For over a decade, I worked as a vocalist, producer, and lyricist, carving out a space for myself in the industry. One of my proudest moments was performing live before an audience of 10,000—a rush of energy and connection that remains unmatched. Beyond performing, I honed my skills in technical production as a lighting technician for two churches. This experience fed my passion for blending artistry with technology, a theme that continues to define my work today.
While I eventually transitioned from music to digital art and AI tools, those years taught me invaluable lessons about storytelling, audience engagement, and the power of creativity to connect people.
Tech Support at Heart: The Birth of Queen Caffeine
My journey into AI art began as an extension of my lifelong passion for technology. What started with curiosity about generative tools like Stable Diffusion and GANs evolved into a full-fledged platform—Queen Caffeine AI—where I could explore the intersection of creativity and innovation. Through hands-on experimentation with neural networks and model training (including LoRAs), I’ve pushed the boundaries of what’s possible in generative art.
Queen Caffeine AI isn’t just about creating art; it’s about demystifying complex technologies through accessible reviews like Expresso Reviews and case studies such as the Recraft AI outage analysis. It’s also about advocating for inclusivity in digital spaces—whether through partnerships with brands like Brisbane Weather or engaging with LGBTQIA+ creators on platforms like Bluesky.
Neurodivergence as a Superpower
As an autistic individual living with dissociative identity disorder (DID) and borderline personality disorder (BPD), I view neurodivergence as my superpower. These conditions have shaped how I approach challenges, often enabling me to think outside conventional boundaries and find innovative solutions. While they present daily hurdles, they’ve also enhanced my creative process by offering unique perspectives on art and technology.
Embracing Digital Creation Amid Physical Challenges
Living with physical disabilities has limited my mobility but opened new doors through technology. Queen Caffeine AI has become a platform where I can create vibrant generative art from my personal space—whether from bed or chair—without limitations. This venture has given me unprecedented freedom to express myself while connecting with a global audience.
One standout project was my collaboration with Brisbane Weather in October 2024. Using AI-driven design tools like Black Forest Labs' Flux 1.1 Pro model on Replicate, I created their now-iconic electric blue energy vortex logo alongside lightning-themed visuals. This partnership not only showcased the power of generative AI but also reinforced my belief in technology’s ability to empower creators regardless of physical constraints.
Advocacy Through Art & Technology
As a trans/lesbian AI artist, advocacy is woven into everything I do. Whether it’s supporting trans rights through my content or fostering inclusivity within tech spaces, I strive to amplify underrepresented voices. Platforms like Bluesky have become key channels for this mission, allowing me to engage directly with LGBTQIA+ creators while building a supportive community.
Future Vision: Pushing Boundaries
The intersection of gaming, tech, and creative expression continues to drive me forward. While that dream sound-and-lighting rig still calls my name occasionally, my focus remains on exploring the bleeding edge of AI art and technology. Through Queen Caffeine AI:
